Spring & Summer Recreation
In Chisago Lakes, spring is truly a flurry of “homecoming” activities. It’s the time to reacquaint with things we’ve missed all winter. Scenic boat excursions begin once more with the return of the Taylors Falls paddleboats to their home port. Farmers Market vendors gear up for another year and once again artfully set up their tables and sell home-produced wares.
Here Comes the Sun
The slap of paddles dipping into the cool waters can once again be heard, allowing kayakers, canoers and paddle-boarders an up close and personal experience on the scenic lakes and river. Golfers return to the green grasses of the course. Uniform rows of tents appear in the campgrounds. And patio tables and chairs reemerge at restaurants and bars.
