South Lindström Lake

South Lindström Lake is a beautiful location to experience the fishing and scenery of “America’s Little Sweden.” The lake’s north shore is connected to North Lindström Lake by a narrow channel, allowing over 25 species of fish to migrate freely between the lakes. South Lindström Lake is also connected to Chisago Lake at its western end.

Directions:

From Highway 8 (Lake Boulevard), travel 1 mile East of Chisago City to Shoquist Lane, cross over Stinson Avenue to access entrance.

The lake is broadly connected to Chisago Lake by a natural channel. The two lakes are somewhat physically different with South Lindström having a smaller percentage of littoral (less than 15 feet depth) acreage (42%) than Chisago (80%). The channel allows fish to migrate freely between the two lakes.
