Spend a weekend creating large snow sculptures at Franconia with artist Heather Friedli! Heather Friedli is the captain of Team Kwe, North America’s first and only all Indigenous Snow Sculpting team (Kwe is an Anishinaabemowin term for woman).
Workshop participants will work in teams of three to build snow molds, design, and carve sculptures that will be on display and illuminated at night for winter visitors.
All participants will enjoy three delicious hot catered lunches from Fiddlehead Kitchen (including gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options), and you may also spend the weekend in Franconia’s residency house (limited rooms available).
Dates: Friday-Sunday February 9-11, 10am-4pm
Price: $170/person (includes three hot catered lunches); $270/person includes Friday & Saturday overnight in Franconia’s Residency house.
