Swedish Summer Night

Brenda was born and raised in Chisago County. Her mother’s roots run deep in the Lindstrom soil, and she wanted to paint a quilt square to give back to this beautiful, heritage-filled community. She has the pleasure of driving through the Chisago Lakes area every day on her way to work at Hazelden. Seeing everything from the Moberg statue to the coffeepot water tower, the lakes and countryside – she loves it all! Brenda has always thrived on creating art and spending time in nature. It brings her joy, and feeds her soul. She also enjoys making jewelry and recycled yard art for her garden, when she can find the time.
