Swedish Dala Star

Unruly Acres is the partnership of Keith Holl and Diane DeRosier. Between the two, they have almost 80 years of design experience (they’ve stopped counting).  Keith is a USMC veteran, former sign/sandblasting company owner, and plumbing contractor. Diane has been in the graphic design field since 1980. After working in San Francisco for 11 years, she came back to Minnesota to teach graphic design and typography at Saint Paul College for 11 years, and worked as a graphic designer, creative services manager, marketing/communications director, and art director at Metro State University for 16 years. Keith and Diane have a unique partnership where both are able to contribute to the custom designs they create. They both work with their clients to define likes/dislikes, sketch and draw ideas, and take designs to computers to create more precise artwork their equipment can map out for them. Keith and Diane both paint designs on prepared, weather resistant boards in a multitude of sizes. They have created a number of 2×2’ indoor and outdoor barn quilts, 4×4’ barn quilts (including their own), and a 3×3’ barn quilt for the Swedish Gift Store in Lindström.
