The Northern Lake Tavern & Grill – bordering a small lake and Highway 8 in the former Trappers location. This popular sports bar and lakes area restaurant opened in the summer of 2013 – with a huge deck, great Happy Hour specials, and an extensive menu.

Boe is an amateur artist who enjoys living in the Chisago Lakes area. He participated in the 2013 Highway 8 Chairs project, and loves all types of painting and sketching. He painted three squares for the Swedish Barn Quilt Trail, each with a contemporary flair.
