Terri grew up in the North Branch area and graduated from North Branch high school. Most of her senior year was spent in the art classroom. After graduating she attended North Hennepin Jr. College for Commercial Arts & Graphic Design.
Terri was a graphics designer for 20 years for the Scotsman. Isanti County News/ECM. She is now a cake decorator at the North Branch Dairy Queen, which is owned by her daughter and son-in-law Heidi and James Fowler. Terri volunteered at St. Croix Festival Theater in St. Croix Fall, WI for 2 years, where she designed and sewed costumes, and made props for plays. She also enjoys Halloween costume design and has won many contests for her creative work. She has painted photo backdrops for a local photographer, and also enjoys doing classic car paintings in pastel for special orders.
Terri is a member of the Kanabec County Art Association in Mora. She has displayed her artwork at many shows such as: Image Show, Vasaloppet Cross Country Ski Race & Art Show and the Braham Pie Day Art Show. But most of the thrill for Terri is just doing art and having people see it! Her passions include acrylic, mixed media, pastel, sculpture, fabric, photography, watercolor, pencil, pen & ink, etc. Most of her work is whimsical – Terri’s motto is “Art just makes life more fun!”.
