For 2 Sundays; January 19 & February 2, get ready to warm up your creative muscles at Glädje!
In these 2 sessions with professional speaker and storyteller, Chad Filley, participants will learn to:
1) Understand different types of stories: mythological, historical, and personal.
2) Story Mine: identify and research stories from their own or their community’s heritage.
3) Craft engaging narratives with structure, themes, and character development.
4) Practice delivery with writing and storytelling exercises.
5) Refine narratives with peer feedback sessions.
6) Protect the authenticity and integrity of stories vs. doctor up story for humor.
The Recital Portion will include students performing a five-minute story for a live audience!!
Both sessions are included in the price, ideally participants will attend both dates.
