Chisago Lakes Farmers Markets Fresh and Local ~ Farm to Table

There is excitement in the air as the Chisago Lakes communities come together to celebrate the start of summer and the farmers’ harvests. It’s a cherished time to connect to our roots, food, local farmers, artisans, and neighbors. Indeed, nothing is better than buying fresh-picked produce, home-baked sourdough bread, and beautiful flowers or enjoying a grilled-to-order burger from the local meat market food stand. Plus, there is so much more!

Everything is flourishing, and colors abound, from bright purple berries to the darkest leafy greens, including abundant fresh-cut flowers to brighten your day and home. At the Chisago Lakes Farmers Markets, in addition, but not limited to, you will find plenty of delicious baked goods, organically-raised pastured chicken and pork, beef and lamb, eggs, honey, maple syrup, jams, jellies, pickles, hand-spun yarn, hand-made crafts, and live entertainment.

Together, we can do so much. – Helen Keller

The Chisago Lakes Farmers Markets also offer an excellent opportunity to meet the farmers face to face, ask questions, and learn about what goes into growing nourishing food.

Each market offers something unique, like Mama Jou’s eggrolls and Little Home Baker’s bread flights, including four mini loaves: plain, cinnamon swirl, garlic parmesan, and jalapeño cheddar at Chisago City Farmers Market, Cactus Boxes at Franconia Farmers Market, and Mama Pam’s Homemade Jelly and Jam at the Lindström Farmers Market. The farmers and artisans are passionate about growing and creating something special for our communities and beyond.
