About the Artist:
Steve Levey
Steve has been a Lindstrom resident for more than 35 years. He began art classes at age 12, and Art was his minor in college. He was a member of the Waterloo, Iowa Art Association from ages 12-21. Steve works with oils and watercolors, and also creates jewelry and sculptures. He got back into painting in 2013, after a 45 year hiatus. Steve has begun working with acrylics, and has created several paintings. Steve is very active in the community, and recently painted the vibrant new signage for Lindstrom’s annual Karl Oskar Days celebration. He is a member of the Chisago Lakes Lions Club, and shares his artistic talents and other skills for the betterment of our area.
