Lindstrom Municipal Bar – The City of Lindstrom owns Municipal On-sale and Off-sale Liquor stores. The Municipal Bar recently underwent a facelift – preserving a bit of local history. The barn quilt has added a bit of color, and complements the Swedish “Coffee Pot Water Tower” in the background. Local residents often question how profits from sales at these facilities are used. The Liquor stores transfer nearly $200,000 into the General Fund for Operating Expenses annually. That amount would otherwise need to come from increased Property Taxes.
