USPCA Region 12 Police Dog 1 Trials are June 25th-June 27th in Chisago County
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office is the host of this year’s K9 Trials. The Police Dog 1 Trial is a three-day event where all the K9 units will complete their annual certification. This event is open to the public to come out and watch Police K9’s as they compete in Obedience, Suspect Searches & Apprehension exercises.
Day 1 – Sunday, June 25th
- 4:30 pm – Meet & Greet with Search & Rescue K9 Teams in the Chisago Lakes HS Parking Lot located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
- 6:00 pm – Public Demonstration: Introduction of all K9 teams and a brief demo of each trial event – Chisago Lakes HS Football Stadium located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
- 7:30 pm – Meet & Greet with K9 Teams – Chisago Lakes HS Parking Lot located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
Day 2 – Monday, June 26th, 7 am to 4 pm
- K9 Trials-Obedience at the Chisago Lakes HS Softball Field 11 located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
- K9 Trials-Suspect Search at the Chisago Lakes HS Track located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
- K9 Trials-Evidence Search at Ki-Chi-Saga County Park located at 29101 Glader Blvd, Lindstrom
Day 3 – Tuesday, June 27th, 7 am to 2 pm
- K9 Trials-Apprehension with Gunfire is at the Chisago Lakes HS Softball Field 11 located at 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom
- K9 Trials- Apprehension without Gunfire is at the Chisago Lakes Middle School Football Field located at 13750 Lake Blvd in Lindstrom
