Every Bone Has a Story to Tell at Wild River State Park
Stories of an animal’s life are recorded in its bones. Guest naturalist Dave Crawford will tell some of them – with a bit of help from the audience. Learn how to tell a hip bone from a shoulder bone, an old animal from a young one, a carnivore from an herbivore, and the surprising stores behind some of the items in the park’s collection.
Meet at the Visitor Center at 2 pm. Wild River State Park is located at 39797 Park Trail in
Center City, MN 55012. From I-35, take State Hwy 95 east to Co Rd 12, then go 3 miles northeast on Co Rd 12 to the park.
