Fall Recreation

In Chisago Lakes, the fall brings harvest and stunning views. The tree-filled land takes center stage during this colorful season. A scenic drive through the countryside will have you awe-struck at the glorious view. Reds, yellows and oranges mingle together and deliver a panoramic treat. Walk in the woods and marvel at how the forest glows as the light of the sun hits the changing leaves.

Autumn in Chisago Lakes

Spend the day at the apple orchard and appreciate the smell of sweet apples and the crunching sound of leaves under foot along the nature trail. Make s’mores at the campsite bonfire and listen for the chirping of the crickets as day becomes night. Coast through the trees on the alpine slides or challenge yourself to a go-kart race. Rustling leaves, hayrides and caramel apples . . . It’s all yours to explore in Chisago Lakes!

Farmaste Animal Sanctuary also provides opportunities for people to connect with the animals and hear their stories through our scheduled tours and volunteer opportunities.
